This is an excellent topic for a deep review, as occupies a unique and frustrating position in Autodesk’s history. It was the last version to support Windows 7 (fully) and the first to aggressively push subscription licensing, but it is now officially unsupported on Windows 10/11.

Extract the installation media.
Create a deployment image using the Autodesk Deployment Wizard (included in the installer).
Use command line:
setup.exe /W /Q /I /language en-US
Specify a network license server using an .ini configuration file.

Connect:

Standalone (single-user) — activated with serial number and product key.
Network (multi-user) — uses a license server (FLEXnet). Install server manager on license server before client install.
Education — requires activation using Autodesk Education credentials/certification.
