Specialized software sites like PlotCalc offer plugins and profiles for the JK-721.

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Camera – Ensure "Camera access" and "Let apps access your camera" are ON.
  • In the Jinka 721 exclusive driver control panel (installed at C:\Program Files\Jinka\), disable "Hardware Encoding" and set "Output Format" to MJPEG instead of YUY2.

Cause:

Windows Update is overriding your exclusive driver. Fix: Use the Group Policy Editor (Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise only):

Predictive Curve Smoothing:

  • When the installer reaches 87%, it will ask you to connect the Jinka 721. Plug it into a USB 2.0 port (not 3.0 initially—this prevents handshake errors).
  • Wait for the "Driver installed successfully" dialog. This may take up to 90 seconds.
