Introducing EuroScope for Mac: Revolutionizing Air Traffic Control
The "EuroScope Mac" experience varies wildly depending on your hardware.
- Download UTM from mac.getutm.app.
- Create a new VM → Download a Windows 11 ARM ISO (for Apple Silicon) or Windows 10/11 x64 ISO (Intel).
- Install Windows inside UTM.
- Inside the VM, download and install EuroScope normally.
- Run EuroScope.
- For reliability and full plugin support: Use a Windows VM (Parallels on Mac), allocate 4 cores and 8+ GB RAM, use bridged networking; use Windows 10/11 (on Apple Silicon use Windows 11 ARM).
- For best performance and native I/O: Boot Camp on Intel Macs.
- For low-effort testing: Try Crossover first; if critical features fail, switch to VM.
- Boot Camp: This is the absolute best method. You can natively dual-boot into Windows via Boot Camp Assistant. EuroScope runs 100% natively with zero overhead.
- Virtualization (VMware/VirtualBox): Good, but the older Intel Macs heat up quickly when both macOS and Windows are running.
