The album, released in 2006, tells the story of Casey Crescenzo, a young man who becomes embroiled in a world of crime and corruption. The album's creator, Tim Kasher, collaborated with Dark Horse Comics to adapt the story into a graphic novel, allowing fans to experience the world of "The Dear Hunter" in a new and exciting way.
